Leading up to the imminent release of Ship Simulator Extremes, VSTEP and Paradox have released 2 new game trailers showing ingame footage of the game.

VSTEP and Paradox Interactive are proud to announce that the much anticipated simulation game Ship Simulator Extremes has will be available in retail and digital download on August 27th 2010, with pre-orders starting next week on August 9th!

This month's ShipSim Magazine (Issue 11 - July 2010), the digital magazine created by and for our community is now available for download here.

As we will feature the ship in all its glory in Ship Simulator Extremes, we were invited to attend the keel laying of the brand new Rainbow Warrior III, the new flagship to be completed in 2011. The people at Greenpeace wrote a nice blog about the keel laying, mentioning Ship Simulator Extremes.

In our developer diaries, we give Ship Sim fans a unique behind-the-scenes look of the VSTEP development studio and learn what the Ship Simulator Extremes team is up to in the final stretch towards the game release. Diary #4 is now available, focussing on how an environment comes to life in the game.

Ship Simulator Extremes will be presented to world press and officials at the official Rainbow Warrior III keel laying ceremony on July 10th in Gdansk Shipyard, Poland. The vessel will be completed in late 2011. In the game, players can sail the virtual Rainbow Warrior III a full year ahead of its real-life completion.

We're safely back from our adventures at E3, with a good feeling and lots of positive feedback about our upcoming game to go with that. It's back to normal now and time for a new dev diary to keep you guys posted on what's happening or has happened regarding the game...
